Lincr
Lincr is a URL shortening service with a catchy, meaningful name and a really short URL. Lincr is pronounced “Linker” and makes a whole lot more sense than “Bitly” or “Is.gd”. The shortened URL looks like this: http://lin.cr/0.
At the moment, Lincr is a basic TinyURL clone, but there are a host of other features planned.
Lincr offers several ways to use the service: a bookmarklet for Firefox and Chrome, an Opera button, a Ubiquity command (thanks to @sathyabhat) and, of course, an API for application use.
